Emirates-Betting.com is an independent review site for bettors in the UAE, published in English and Arabic. We test operators ourselves rather than repeat their marketing.
Here is the one-sentence reason to trust what you read here: every operator is tested against the same published, weighted rubric, and every score is signed off by a named analyst who recorded the evidence behind it.
No rating is published until that evidence exists. No score is adjusted because of a commercial relationship.

What We Do
Emirates-Betting reviews betting operators for readers in the UAE — sportsbook and casino, in English and Arabic. Our analysts open accounts, place bets, request withdrawals, contact support and time the responses, then score what they observed against a rubric that is published in full and applies identically to every brand.
Alongside operator reviews we publish comparison tables, odds explainers, payment-method guides and responsible-gambling resources, all built from the same testing records.
It matters just as much to say what this site is not. We are not a regulator and we do not license anyone. We do not operate a betting site, take bets or hold player funds. We do not give legal advice, and nothing here should be read as telling you that gambling is permitted where you live.
We describe operators. We do not authorise them, and reviewing an operator is not the same as recommending you use it.
Who We Are
Six named people stand behind the ratings on this site. Full biographies, credentials and editorial scope for each are on the editorial team page.
Khalid Al-Mansoori — Senior Review Analyst. Owns the scoring rubric and holds final sign-off on every published rating.
Omar Al-Suwaidi — Senior Sports & Odds Analyst. Samples and models odds across comparable markets, feeding the sportsbook side of the Product score.
Tarek Al-Falasi — Betting Editor & Fact-Checker. Re-verifies every bonus term, limit and licence number against the operator’s own live terms before publication.
Marco Borg — iGaming Compliance & Legal Advisor. Independently checks each licence against the regulator’s register before it feeds the Safety score.
Dr. Hassan Al-Zaabi — Responsible Gambling Expert. Clinical psychologist; holds specialist sign-off on responsible-gambling scoring and content.
Karim Al-Haddad — Senior Casino Analyst & Reviewer. Tests the full casino journey, from game library to cashier and withdrawal.
How We Test and Rate Operators
Every operator is scored from 0.0 to 10.0 in eight tested categories, each carrying a fixed weight: Safety 20%, Product 20%, UAE Accessibility 15%, Payments 12%, Bonuses & Promotions 5%, User Experience 8%, Customer Support 10% and Responsible Gambling Tools 10%. The weights total 100% and are the same for every brand we review.
Those eight scores roll up into four public rating pillars — Safety & Player Protection, Product & Promotions, UAE Access & Payments, and Experience & Support — plus one Overall Rating.
Two rules matter more than the numbers themselves. First, the Overall Rating is a calculated field: it is derived directly from the eight unrounded category scores, and our editorial process does not permit anyone to adjust it manually. Second, a rating does not publish while any category lacks sufficient evidence. “Not tested” is a data status, not a score of zero — an operator we cannot fully evidence stays Unrated.
Every published score is re-tested quarterly, and immediately whenever something material changes.

How We Make Money
Emirates-Betting.com is funded by affiliate commission. When a reader opens an account with an operator through some of the links on this site, we may be paid a commission by that operator. That revenue pays for the testing, the accounts we fund ourselves, the analysts and the site. We would rather tell you this plainly than bury it.
What that commercial relationship does not do is touch the scores — and this is a mechanism, not a promise.
- Commercial terms are not an input to any of the eight scored categories. There is no category, and no modifier, for how much an operator pays.
- Rankings and comparison tables are ordered by the unrounded Overall Rating, and by nothing else.
- The Overall Rating is a calculated field. Our editorial process does not permit commercial parties or anyone else to adjust it manually.
- The same rubric, the same weights and the same evidence rules apply to operators we have a commercial relationship with and to those we do not.
Operators cannot buy placement, and they cannot buy a higher score.
What We Don’t Do
Editorial independence is easier to check than to claim, so here is the specific list. Each line corresponds to a rule enforced in our editorial policy or scoring methodology.
- No paid placements. No operator can pay to appear higher in a ranking, a comparison table or a “top” list.
- No operator sign-off on reviews. Operators do not see, approve or amend review copy before it publishes.
- No scores without evidence. Every category score carries an analyst, a test date and a recorded source. Missing evidence blocks publication.
- No invented bonus codes or offers. If a promo code is published, it was verified against the operator’s own live terms.
- No circumvention instructions. We do not explain how to get around geo-blocks, verification or any legal restriction.
- No content aimed at under-18s. Every page carries the 18+ notice, and nothing here is styled or targeted to minors.
Editorial Independence and Corrections
Independence here is structural rather than aspirational. Scoring, fact-checking and licence verification sit with different people; the Overall Rating is calculated, not entered; and no rating publishes without a named analyst, a named approver and a test date on the record.
We also get things wrong. Prices move, terms change and a licence status can shift between one check and the next.

Our Position on UAE Law
We want no ambiguity here.
Online gambling is prohibited in the UAE except through an operator licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). The operators reviewed on this site are offshore and hold no GCGRA licence. That is a statement of fact about their regulatory status, not a workaround.
Reviewing an operator is not recommending it. We describe what we tested and what we found; we do not tell any reader that using an offshore operator is lawful, safe from consequence, or advisable.

Responsible Gambling Commitment
Gambling harm is real, and a review site that ignores it is part of the problem.
We treat player protection as something we score rather than something we mention. Responsible Gambling Tools is one of our eight tested categories, weighted at 10%, and it is the only category that requires specialist sign-off: Dr. Hassan Al-Zaabi, a clinical psychologist specialising in behavioural addiction, reviews the score and the language used to describe it. We check whether deposit and loss limits, cooling-off, self-exclusion, reality checks and account history are genuinely available and usable — not merely listed.
Every page on this site carries the 18+ notice, and no page is written to encourage chasing losses or to make risk sound smaller than it is.

Our Editorial History and Methodology Versions
The team on this site has been built out over several years rather than assembled at once. Tarek Al-Falasi joined as Betting Editor & Fact-Checker in 2020. Omar Al-Suwaidi joined as Senior Sports & Odds Analyst in 2023, the same year Marco Borg and Dr. Hassan Al-Zaabi began advising the site on licensing and responsible gambling respectively. Karim Al-Haddad joined as Senior Casino Analyst & Reviewer in May 2026, adding dedicated casino coverage.
Our scoring methodology is versioned and dated, so you can see what a rating was measured against.
