So is 1Win safe? The licence exists but awaits a renewal decision, and account protections are standard. That decision will weigh most at the next re-test.

Marco Borg checked the 1Win licence against the regulator’s own published register in September 2026. The check ran in this order.

The June label shows that no final decision appears in that register edition, so the status should be rechecked before any deposit. Some reviews still quote the old sub-licence 8048/JAZ, which belongs to the previous regime. A Curaçao licence says nothing about legality in the UAE.
